In search of one's own identity

The objective of the Compulsory Secondary Education (E.S.O) stage is the comprehensive education of our students from a scientific-humanistic perspective. The students of this stage are at an important moment in their educational process and personal development.

Adolescents demand a greater degree of freedom and autonomy, and at the same time it is a time of uncertainty, insecurity and increased sensitivity, all combined with an attitude of resistance and questioning of what has already been established. For this reason, at this stage we give special importance to education in values, responsibility, self-discipline, emotional intelligence, and developing essential life skills: critical capacity, respect, collaboration, creativity, resilience and empathy.

At an academic level, we begin this educational level as a natural evolution of Primary, the acquired base is consolidated, broadened and improved, relying on interdisciplinary and transversality: in cooperative work, in project work, in communication and communication technologies, with information, and in curiosity and scientific experimentation. With this we build a solid training that lays the foundations for their future.

All the work of the teaching team, characterized by its proximity to the students, is aimed at achieving an optimal preparation of our students for their future, attaching enormous importance to the academic and professional orientation that allows them to choose and continue their post-compulsory studies with the greatest level of competence and possible abilities.

In short, Compulsory Secondary education is the level in which the foundations of the previous level are solidified and the basic social, cultural and intellectual elements are added for the later levels.
