Solid preparation for higher education

The purpose of the baccalaureate is to provide our students with comprehensive education and training, intellectual and human maturity, as well as the knowledge, skills, competencies and attitudes that allow them to adapt to continuous changes to successfully perform their social and work functions with responsibility.

To achieve this, it is necessary during this educational stage to develop and strengthen the student's personal initiative, the appreciation of effort, autonomy, the capacity for self-improvement, a positive attitude towards knowledge, study habit and discipline, since they are essential conditions for the effective use of learning and are a means of personal development.

The baccalaureate comprises two academic courses and is developed in three different modalities, all of which are taught at the Luis Vives School with a wide range of itineraries keeping in mind the particular interests of each of our students:

-Sciences and technology.

-Humanities and Social Sciences.

-Arts

With this structure, our wide range of electives and a demanding academic project, it is easier for our students to achieve quality academic training that guarantees the specialization and preparation necessary for incorporation to the higher studies they want to undertake, whether they are university degrees or higher degrees of professional formation of success into university life.

At Luis Vives School we have been preparing students for the best national, European or North American universities for more than 60 years. Our effort to include knowledge and values has been rewarded over the years by both the high number of students who pass at the College at the end of the level, as well as the good results obtained by them in the Baccalaureate Tests of Access to the University and, what is more important, have been incorporated with guarantees of success in university life.
