Global Tennis Team is an Academy which uses tennis as a means of training. It is an education based upon ‘leaving your comfort zone in order to explore other areas’ and it is a sports adventure where the result is a consequence, not the final objective. The main target is to instil in the students daily work ethics and self-discipline. The aim is to provide our students with a preparation for their sports career and in particular, the final stage , which will be their adult life
The Head Trainer of the Tennis School and co-owner is Mr Jofre Porta, who was both the former trainer of Rafal Nadal and Carlos Moyá. They have been both number one in the Official ATP Rankings
Luis Vives School and Global Tennis Team have been working together since 2013 on specific educational programmes designed for these tennis players. The programmes which have been created are as follows:
-PALIC (Providing Spanish Language Linguisitic and Cultural Knowledge to foreigners). We offer either the possibility of doing it on site (in school) or online.
-Luis Vives Progrmame (Primary, ESO or Bachillerato designed for gifted tennis players)
-GCSE or A Levels (An intensive training course of the core subjects in the UK and preparation of both official tests: Pearson Edexcel International)
